본문1. Main Responsibilities ** GENERAL MANAGEMENT - Ensure disciplinary and functional management of the Purchasing and Logistics Department; adhere to the targets set for the Department - Ensures P & L Policies and Procedures are adhered to ** MANAGEMENT OF THE FULL PURCHASING AND LOGISTICS PROCESS * Purchasing - Follow pricing trends to ensure that the best prices are obtained - Source alternative suppliers to ensure the best value for money - Implement initiatives to optimise purchasing performance - Ensure supplier contracts are accurate and in accordance with company procedures * Logistics - Plan and manage materials and deliveries - Ensure ordering and supplies are done timeously - Deliver in accordance with to customer order schedules - Define transport terms and conditions and duly implement contracts - Manage the warehouse activities to ensure an effective and efficient flow - Implement initiatives to optimise logistics performance - Ensure accurate, effective and efficient stock management - Manage inventory and reduce discrepancies and proper FG * CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT - Promote and apply continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, 5S etc. * HEALTH AND SAFETY - Implement health and safety measures in conjunction with HR to prevent accidents and inspects unsafe acts, unsafe conditions to mitigate risks * QUALITY - Implement and enforce quality control to meet quality objectives in conjunction with QC Manager 2. Skills and Experience - Minimum of 7 years experience in both Purchasing and Logistics with a proven track record of cost savings and efficiencies and inventory accuracy - Previous experience in the automotive industry would be a definite advantage - Must be proficient in SAP experience and MS Office - A qualification in Logistics would be a definite advantage - Working knowledge of Freight Trade Agreements 3.
